Westlake Boys 1st XI vs Orewa College
The first league game of the season was a classic game of two halves. With many injuries the team only had one substitute instead of five that are allowed. Westlake started off the game at fast pace and scored goals consistently throughout the first half taking the half time score to 7-0. With fatigue settling in during the second half, the boys struggled to capitalise on the many chances available and ended the match adding only 3 more goals to the total.
