Westlake Boys 1st XI vs Kristin School 1st XI
The Westlake 1st XI faced a strong Kristin School team in another touch match for third/fourth spot in the Harbour Hockey finals on Wednesday. Westlake started the first half on the front foot but could not manage to convert the pressure into goals. Kristin, however, scored early on in the game and Westlake responded well through Cameron Jones Moore, levelling the score before half time.
Several Westlake errors in the second half led to Kristin scoring two more goals but Westlake battled hard and finally got a second break through from Craig Templeton closing the gap. Charl Urlich grabbed the equaliser with 2 minutes to spare resulting in shootouts which went Kristin’s way.
