The 1st XI faced North Shore rivals Rosmini College on Wednesday 16 May. After an even start, a defensive lapse saw Rosmini take the lead half way through the first half. The game remained fairly even until Rosmini capitalised on a penalty corner opportunity to make it 0-2 with 20 mins to play. Westlake fought hard and were finally rewarded for their efforts at full time, with Peter Morris finishing a penalty corner. The final score was a 1-2 loss.
