Westlake Boys Premier Squash captain Rafa Yam captained the New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash boys’ team in their Trans-Tasman Schools Squash Challenge held 24-27 August in New South Wales, Australia.
The New Zealand team won the series by overcoming the New South Wales and Queensland teams. At the conclusion of the schools competition, the Australian teams combined for a test match against New Zealand and the Kiwis again came out the winners.
It has been a fantastic season for Westlake Boys squash winning the College Sport Premier Boys Division 1 Competition, the Auckland Secondary Schools Team Championships and being crowned New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Champions at Nationals.
